Florida NeuroAlliance
Who we are: The Florida NeuroAlliance is a diverse coalition dedicated to improving the quality of life for improving the quality of life for people with neurological conditions living in Florida. Members include:
• Patients
• Health and advocacy organizations
• Advocates
• Medical and support services providers, and
• Researchers
Purpose: The Florida NeuroAlliance provides a unified voice for the more than _______________ people with neurological conditions living in Florida.
Mission: The Florida NeuroAlliance is dedicated to improving the quality of life for Floridians with neurological conditions. It will fulfill its mission by being proactive in promoting public policies that:
• Assure access to quality health care and support services;
• Support cutting edge research leading to better treatments and cures for neurological conditions;
• Protect the rights of people with neurological conditions and
• Promote full participation of people with neurological conditions in their respective communities.
Activities: The Florida NeuroAlliance achieves its mission through:
- Assure access to quality health care and support services

- Protect the rights of people with neurological conditions
- Promote full participation of people with neurological conditions in their respective communities
Conference calls and in-person meetings assure a continuum of information and communications among members.
State Advocacy Day: An annual State Advocacy Day brings to the attention of legislators the issues and challenges facing people with neurological conditions and calls for effective public policy to address these concerns.
Membership: Membership is open to Florida organizations and individuals with interest and/or expertise in improving the quality of life for Floridians living with a neurological condition.
